Punj Lloyd surges on order win

Punj Lloyd announced receiving Rs. 488 crore worth of projects in the power sector including its first two wins in the Transmission and Distribution segment.

Along with these two T&D projects, Punj Lloyd has also won its first power project from BHEL for the civil, structural and architectural work of the non plant works and Raw Water Reservoir, Roads and Drains at the 800 MW Kothagudem Thermal Power Project in Khammam District, Telangana.

The Group’s order backlog stands at Rs. 21,466 crore. The order backlog is the value of unexecuted orders on June 30, 2015 plus new orders received after that date.

The scrip opened at Rs. 26.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 27.65 and Rs. 26.6 respectively. So far 403709(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 880.07 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 42.45 on 04-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 20.75 on 20-May-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 27.25 and Rs. 23.7 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.93 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.59 % and 53.48 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 200 DMA.
