Textiles and plastic firm Sintex Industries today reported an increase of 22.71 per cent in its consolidated net profit to Rs 197.78 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 161.17 crore in the March quarter of last fiscal, Sintex Industries said in a filing to the BSE.
Company's consolidated net sales during the quarter under review was at Rs 2,168.15 crore, an increase of 9.34 per cent compared with Rs 1,982.94 crore last fiscal.
For the entire fiscal, the company's consolidated net profit increased 44.99 per cent to Rs 528.80 crore as against Rs 364.69 crore in 2013-14.
Its consolidated net sales also increased 19.92 per cent to Rs 7,006.61 crore in FY15 from Rs 5,842.62 crore last year.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Sintex Industries said that its board has recommended a dividend Rs 0.70 per equity share for FY2015.
Shares of Sintex Industries were trading at Rs 108.15 per scrip in post afternoon trade, down 1.59 per cent on the BSE.
