Liquor firm Radico Khaitan today reported 50.5 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs. 14.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had posted a profit of Rs. 9.90 crore in the year—ago period, Radico Khaitan said in a filing to the BSE.
However, net sales declined 2.96 per cent to Rs. 332.50 crore during the quarter, as against Rs. 342.66 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
The company’s net profit was down 5.08 per cent to Rs. 67.63 crore as against Rs. 71.25 crore in the year—ago period.
Its’ net sales was up 2.28 per cent to Rs. 1,444.50 crore as against Rs. 1,412.18 crore.
The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.80 on fully paid up equity share of Rs. 2 each for 2014—15 fiscal.
Shares of Radico Khaitan today closed at Rs. 91.05 a piece on BSE, up 0.77 per cent from the previous close.
