Dr Reddy’s Q4 net up 8% at Rs. 519 cr

Pharma major Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd’s consolidated net profit increased 8 per cent to Rs. 519 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015 compared with Rs. 481 cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Revenues of the Hyderabad-based company increased 11 per cent to Rs. 3,870 crore (Rs 3,480 crore).

For the full year ended March 31, 2015, the company posted 3 per cent increase in net profit to Rs. 2,217 crore (Rs 2,151 cr) on a 12 per cent revenue growth at Rs. 14,818 crore (Rs 13,217crore)..

"We are pleased with the progress on our financial and non-financial parameters which we delivered despite current volatility in some of our emerging market geographies,’’ Dr Reddy’s Co-Chairman and CEO G V Prasad said in a release issued here on Tuesday.

The company’s scrip gained 3.39 per cent after the announcement of the results on the Bombay Stock Exchange and is trading at Rs. 3,476.
