FIIs raise stake in IRB Infrastructure in Q4

IRB Infrastructure Developers undertakes development of various infrastructure projects in the road sector through several special purpose vehicles.

IRB Infrastructure Developers' promoters have reduced their shareholding in the company over the last three months. Promoters have reduced shareholding by 332 basis points to 57.79 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 61.11 percent as on December 31, 2014. On the other hand, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) increased their shareholding by 230 basis points to 26.94 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 24.64 percent as on December 31, 2014.

Meanwhile, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) raised their stake by 152 basis points to 8.02 percent in the company at the end of March 2015 quarter from 6.5 percent as on December 31, 2014.

Further, non institutions were having 7.25 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 50 basis points from 7.75 percent as on December 31, 2014 and Corporate bodies were holding 2.23 percent stake in the company at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 51 basis points from 2.74 percent as on December 31, 2014.
